Chilean Navy Bicentennial.  This year the Chilean Navy is celebrating its Bicentennial with the theme “Chilean Navy: 200 years navigating in the service of the country with tradition and vision.” An extensive program highlighting two centuries of naval history will culminate with the 11th edition of EXPO NAVAL taking place in Valparaiso December 4-7. The celebration will recall the Valparaiso Naval Combat, the departure of the First National Fleet, the founding of the Academy of Young Midshipmen, the forerunner of the current Chilean Naval Academy; and the creation of the National Merchant Marine.

Organizers of the 11th Exponaval anticipate more than 160 international exhibitors and a turnout of some 9,000 professional visitors. Seventy official naval delegations have indicated their intention to participate as well.

The Executive Director of Exponaval and Trans-Port 2018, Carlos Parada, explained that "in the Latin American naval and maritime scenario there are projected investments of around US $800 million, and this fair that takes place every two years in Chile is an important link within of those purchasing processes, as an effective meeting point between shipping companies, naval institutions, port companies and suppliers of products and services with state-of-the-art technology for their activities ". 


In that sense, Parada added that "the projected commercial objectives were met according to the initial balance. We had a very good reception of the place where we made the fair this year, so everything indicates that we will continue here in 2018."

In April 2014 I received the invitation from Kallman Worldwide to work as an onsite staff and operations for Fidae and Expomin shows in Chile, the idea was to help during the buildup and show days in logistics and exhibitor services, it was so fun! Then I received the proposal to be part of the office as Operations specialist even I had a permanent job I decide to move to Kallman Worldwide because I saw the opportunities to grow as a professional and how nice the human team is, I studied Managing Tourist Companies worked 10 years on the Adventure Tourism world a then 3 in Mining developing safe Natural and Mountain risk control, trade shows was a totally different challenge and definitely the best.

Al tiempo recibí la invitación por parte de la compañía para ser parte del departamento de Operaciones, aunque tenía un trabajo permanente decidí formar parte de Kallman Worldwide ya que vi la posibilidad de desarrollarme como profesional y lo fuerte que era el equipo humano, estudié Administración de Empresas Turísticas, trabaje en el rubro 10 años en turismo aventura y 3 en minería en control de riesgos naturales en montaña, el mundo de las ferias fue un desafío totalmente diferente y lejos el mejor.
