High visibility clothing or vest, and sturdy closed toed footwear are required at all times during build-up and dismantle.

Kallman Worldwide does not provide safety clothing.

 


Parking Information

If you are driving to the Centre, they offer two undercover car parking options with the North Terrace (400 spaces) and the Riverbank (500 spaces) car parks. Both are located directly under the Centre and are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Clearance is 2.0 metres and automated payment stations accept credit/debit cards (1.5% surcharge for Visa, Mastercard, Diners and Amex).

Both car parks are fitted with video surveillance camera systems and security patrols these areas.

How many badges will I receive and how to do I obtain them?

Exhibitor entry to LAND FORCES 2018 requires all personnel to be issued with an Exhibitor Badge. Exhibitor Badges are valid from September 3-6, 2018 including designated Exhibitor Set-up and Exhibitor pack-down time. Exhibitor Badges should be allocated to the attending staff who require access over the set-up and pack-down times and early entry on the days of the event.

How do I obtain Visitor Passes?

Trade visitors must complete a Registration Form prior to admission into the Exhibition and only those related to the industry will be permitted. Persons under 16 years will not be admitted into the exhibition.

Where Can I Access Taxis?

Three main taxi companies operate in the Adelaide metropolitan area and ranks are located on North Terrace and Morphett bridge, right on the doorstep of the Central and West Buildings.

Where can I get a bus or train?

The historic Adelaide Railway Station is located a 2-minute walk from the ACC, and the Tram stop is just in front of the Railway Station. For further information including timetables and pricing please visit the Adelaide Metro website.

The free City Connector bus is an easy way of navigating around Adelaide, look out for bus 98c or 98A. For further information please visit the Adelaide Metro website.

Adelaide is great to tour by bike as well. The ACC is a designated pick up and drop off point for Adelaide Free Bikes – an initiative run by the Adelaide City Council. All you need is a valid driver’s license, passport or Australian proof of age card! For further information please visit the Adelaide Free Bikes website.

Is there a safety dress code during build-up?

Hi Visibility clothing, sturdy closed toe shoes must be worn at all times during the buildup and teardown period.

 

Will there be food available onsite during Build-Up and Dismantle?

There are cafes and restaurants outside the venue. At this time there is no onsite food options planned for Build-Up.

When & where does the USA Partnership Pavilion Opening Ceremony & Ribbon Cutting take place?

When: Tuesday September 04, 2017 | 10:00 (Time approximate)
Where: USA Partnership Pavilion
The reception and ceremony will begin with refreshments and networking followed by the playing of the U.S. and Australian national anthems to begin the ceremony and brief remarks by Kallman Worldwide and U.S. Government Representatives. The event will culminate with the ceremonial ribbon cutting to officially “open” the USA Partnership Pavilion for business at Land Forces.

 

Is there a dress code for show days?

Appropriate business attire or applicable military uniform is required.

 

When and where can I pick up my Official Catalogue?

There will be a limited number of printed Trade Directories available. All Exhibitors will receive one per company which we will deliver on the first day of the event. An electronic PDF of the directory will be available on the Land Forces website just prior to the event. The official LF2018 App will also contain all information provided within the Trade Directory. This will be free to download via the iTunes and Googleplay stores just before the start of the event.

 

Where can I find the Organizer’s Office?

Exhibitor Services will be located in the back-foyer area near hall F.

 

How can I book a conference room with the USA Partnership Pavilion?

Please go to the USA Pavilion Meeting Point located in Booth 2B20 once you arrive onsite. Reservations are on a first come-first served basis and are limited to 1 hour per exhibiting company per day.  When booking conference rooms, exhibitors should provide:

  • Date (Day) and Time of Meeting
  • Length of Meeting (Note:  Times are limited to 1 hour per day per exhibiting company)
  • Number of attendees
  • On-site contact name and number

Wireless connectivity is provided throughout the Adelaide Convention Centre. Limited free Wi-Fi is available and is suitable for web browsing and emails.

 

Will there be a business center onsite?

Adelaide Convention Centre does not have a Business Centre.

 

Which security measures are in place?

Visitors should be aware from Tuesday September 4 to Thursday September 6, access control procedures will be in place. Visitors entering the exhibition venue will be subject to screening processes (similar to security checks undertaken at airports) and visitors should ensure that trade visitor badges are worn at all times when within the exhibition venue.

Official photographic identification (passport, driver's license, defense ID etc.) is necessary and must be carried with you at all times while attending LAND FORCES 2018.

 

What do I do in an emergency?

Triple Zero (000) is the primary national emergency number in Australia.

 

EMERGENCY & EVACUATION PROCEDURE

 

Any medical requirements should be directed to an ACC security/staff member or phone security 8210 6770 who will contact the appropriate person to assist.  First Aid Rooms are located adjacent to the Main North Terrace entrance and on level 5, Western Building.

 

Is there a lost and found?

Please refer all lost and found queries over the event to the Exhibitor Services desk in the Main Entrance. They will liaise with the Adelaide Convention Centre if they have anything in their possession.
