Visitor Relations

Kallman Worldwide, Inc., located in Bergen County, NJ, is a leader in the trade show and exhibition services industry, supporting American companies in international tradeshows.  We are seeking a vital new member of our team to build relationships with, and increase attendance of, high level buyers and decision makers/influencers to our portfolio of USA Pavilions abroad.  Reporting to Vice President of Business Development and working closely with our Marketing, Project Management, and Sales Departments, the candidate must have face-to-face event marketing experience and have an understanding of the fundamental interactions that lead to successful international trade.  Communications skills (written and verbal) are a must as this position will require direct contact with high level executives in the aerospace, defense, oil and gas, mining, and healthcare sectors.  The successful candidate will play a lead role in expanding Kallman’s reputation as the premier company for connecting show exhibitors with industry VIPs.

Responsibilities:

  • Research vertical markets to determine industry decision makers
  • Liaise with internal departments, exhibitors, sponsors, speakers, and conference producers to identify key industry visitors to invite to shows
  • Source, qualify and build database of prospective visitors in assigned industry sectors from throughout the world
  • Work with the project team on invites and help arrange strategic meetings among exhibitors and visitors and event participation for Delegates and VIPs.
  • Use database to contact prospective visitors to secure their participation in various networking/social formats
  • Build and maintain alliances with stakeholders and decision influencers
  • Establish visitor relations objectives with management and work to ensure targets are met.
  • Build strong relationships with these key VIPs to create brand commitment and loyalty.
  • Work with MARCOM to develop the Visitor online community through digital media channels.

  • Strong research skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills
  • Previous Experience in B2B events
  • Extremely organized with the ability to work independently as well as multi-task
  • Ability to address challenges and make solutions so as to reach expected results
  • Experience in building relationships and working with C-level executives
  • Can work with minimal supervision
  • Second language is a plus
