Why Exhibit at Airshow China 2018?

Within the next two decades, China is on track to become the world’s second largest aviation market.

The Chinese government is investing significant resources to develop manufacturing capability, build new infrastructure (50 new airports by 2020!) and train new pilots to keep pace with domestic and international demand for capacity.

As an endorsement of progress, quality and performance, the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) clearance for Chinese aircraft exports (November 2017) introduces new competition to the global air transport market, and heightens demand across the supply chain for the materials, components accessories and services China needs to produce, sell and maintain more planes. Airshow China (officially “China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition”) is the only international aerospace trade show endorsed by the Chinese central government (which means if there’s one show that buyers are going to go to, it’s probably this one). The biennial event presents a familiar air show format — exhibit halls, product demonstrations, trade talks, technological exchanges and a flying display — in a market that is growing by the minute. If you’re in the business of keeping planes flying safely, your business is bound to take off at Airshow China.

Why Exhibit in the USA Partnership Pavilion?

China-built aircraft rely heavily on American made products to comply with today's demanding aerospace regulations. With FAA clearance of products manufactured in China, U.S. tier 1, 2 and 3 companies all gain an extra advantage as the most qualified and experienced partners to the Chinese aviation industry.

Kallman Worldwide’s decades of experience organizing the U.S. presence at aerospace shows around the world, including Airshow China (since 1996), builds on America's advantage to help you stand out at the show. Our USA Partnership Pavilion is your on-site headquarters: a destination for buyers, a business hub for exhibitors and a forum for all to share ideas and insights. .

The 2016 Pavilion boasted a robust U.S. trade program that featured a USA-China Briefing and VIP Reception with presentations by U.S. government officials and a stellar list of C-level executives from top Chinese airlines, aviation-related firms and associations.

Working hand-in-hand with the U.S. Embassy and Chinese aerospace associations, the upcoming edition of the USA Partnership Pavilion is poised to surpass even last year’s impressive program, with on- and off-site events and networking opportunities planned to bring Pavilion exhibitors together with aviation decision-makers from around the world. This is the #1 marketplace for China’s aviation industry.

China’s investing billions in building, manufacturing, maintaining and training. Exhibit here to grow there.

Airshow China will focus on:

The U.S. aviation sector exported $13.2 billion products to China in 2016, accounting for 58 percent of China’s total imports in the aviation sector.

Commercial Aviation

Commercial opportunities in China’s civil aviation market include commercial aircraft, engines and parts, MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul), airport, and general aviation, among others.

General Aviation

The long-term economic importance of this sector has led aircraft OEMs and government officials to devote significant resources towards general aviation.

According to the USCS, China currently has 218 civil aviation airports, including the world’s second busiest in Beijing, with plans to expand aggressively to more than 260 airports by 2020.

The 2016 edition of Airshow China reported strong attendance and industry participation:

  • 42 countries
  • 700+ exhibitors
  • 151 aircraft displays
  • 135,000+ trade visitors
  • 168 seminars

Our USA Partnership Pavilion is your on-site headquarters: it presents the highest concentration of U.S. equipment and services at the show which makes it a destination for buyers looking for American quality, innovation and partnership. In addition to our complete suite of pre-show and on-site services, the USA Partnership Pavilion provides valuable opportunities and activities, exclusive to Pavilion participants:

  • Anticipated PRE-SHOW U.S. GOVERNMENT MARKET BRIEFING and U.S. WELCOME RECEPTION with presentations and attendance by leaders in the field from U.S. Government, US and Chinese aerospace and aviation companies and business associations. In 2016, US Pavilion participants heard from and networked with Principals from Hainan Airlines, China Southern Airlines, GAMECO, USTDA, Honeywell, Deputy Chief of Mission David Rank, US Consul General Charles Bennett and many more.Click Here to view the briefing agenda from 2016, we expect a similar program for 2018!

My love for the international events industry started just over 10 years ago. I came from the freight forwarding business where I was working on big shipments for trade shows. Once I dove into the sales side of the business, I found great satisfaction; I knew I was going to make a career here. I now manage a team of six outstanding sales associates who focus on helping U.S. companies grow their businesses and stand out from competitiors at shows around the world. Every day I look forward to building new relationships and helping our customers reach their export goals.

As Kallman Worldwide's newest Project Coordinator, I've been enjoying learning the "ins" and "outs" of the trade show business over the past few months. When I'm not at my desk caffeinating and singing to country music, you can find me outside on a run, or in the kitchen baking something sweet!
