Production Designer/Graphic Artist

The Production Designer is an organized, detail-oriented graphic artist and layout producer who can take input from multiple client stakeholders and produce visual communication in support of Kallman Worldwide sales, exhibitor services and corporate messaging/branding including but not limited to:

  • Advertising
  • Presentations
  • Sales Collateral
  • Publications
  • PR and media relations
  • Signage/Graphics
  • Packaging
  • Social Media

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Creates, replicates and updates promotional materials to support specific business activities.
  • Evolves and enforces a consistent brand family look/point-of-view across all assignments.
  • Coordinates with project stakeholders to produce accurately specified, cost-efficient and timely delivery of materials.
  • Manages projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with all review, QC, production/performance specifications.
  • Follows materials through distribution, including mailings, ad placements.
  • Coordinates and builds relationships with internal and external stakeholders to learn about the business and gain market/industry insights to inform smarter design.
  • Coordinates with Marketing Assistant to report analytics, identify trends and adjust accordingly to continuously improve results.
  • Collects and organizes graphical assets/images in an easily navigable and accessible central company inventory for efficient, effective production — and is always looking for interesting, useful materials and elements to add.

Qualifications/Skills

  • Fluency in core Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat) a must; Premier, HTML5, CSS a plus.
  • Two years’ experience as a graphic designer, production designer or layout artist in an agency or editorial environment.
  • College degree (BFA) preferred
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects and stakeholder clients at a time.
  • Integrated communicator — understands how content is merchandised and organized across platforms (ex: web v print).
  • Receptive to creative direction and design feedback.
  • Can work independently and collaboratively.
  • Can take and give direction.
  • Meets deadlines.
