American Business Aviation Suppliers Set Sights on MENA Market at MEBAA 2016

U.S. International Pavilion represents 16 states, innovative equipment, products and services

Dubai and Waldwick, N.J. / November 28, 2016 — With forecasts projecting the business aircraft fleet in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region reaching 1,200 by 2020, American aviation suppliers have their sights set on MEBAA 2016, December 6-8 at DWC Airshow Site, to grow their share of the future market there.

MEBAA is the region’s largest and most influential business aviation event. The centerpiece of the American presence will be the U.S. International Pavilion, organized by Kallman Worldwide, Inc., the show’s official U.S. representative, in coordination with numerous government agencies including the U.S. departments of Commerce and State. The Pavilion will be a primary destination for buyers looking to meet industry leaders, an on-site business hub for American exhibitors looking to maximize their exposure and impact at the event, and a forum for all to share industry information and insights.

Exhibitors in the Pavilion are primarily small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) representing 16 states and all looking to initiate or strengthen international partnerships that will generate new business and create more jobs back home. They are presenting a cross-section of innovative equipment, products and services for owners and operators, including: maintenance tools and accessories, air ambulance, flight safety training, aircraft lighting, catering, ground support equipment and financing. “When American companies commit to exhibit at MEBAA, we’re saying we believe in the power of this event to attract real business prospects and customers,” said Kallman Worldwide President and CEO, Tom Kallman. “As the MENA business aviation and aerospace market continues to expand and diversify, we’re proud to work with show organizers to help our exhibitors succeed in Dubai, whether as prime contractors or subcontractors in support of regional owners, operators, service and maintenance partners and their end-user customers.”

To drive more trade attendees to visit Pavilion exhibitors, Kallman is promoting the U.S. national presence at MEBAA 2016 with its “Ask America” on-site advocacy campaign. The message is being placed prominently around the U.S. International Pavilion, integrated into official events and media during the show and highlighted in social media (follow on Twitter @kallmanEWC).

“Connecting U.S. suppliers with buyers from around the world is what makes the Pavilion a distinct destination,” Kallman said. “That’s why our message to visitors at MEBAA is, ‘Ask America’ — because we’re listening. The United States is committed to our overseas partners and investments, we bring the smartest technology and innovation to the table, and we have the most-skilled professionals ready to do the work.”
