JUST IN: Korea’s Biggest Defense Trade Show Sets Records

GOYANG, South Korea — With a new venue and format, South Korea’s largest military trade show ADEX now asserts that it is the second-largest aerospace and defense event in the world behind only the Paris Air Show.

Perhaps driving the record-setting show is a big boost in the nation’s military budget. President Lee Jae Myung announced recently that the government would seek an 8.2 percent increase in defense spending the next fiscal year, totaling $47.1 billion.
