Interzoo, the world’s leading trade fair for the pet industry with 2,400 exhibitors from 70 countries, took place for the 19th time in Nuremberg from May 12-15, 2026.

In the area of ​​animal welfare, the trade fair organizers, ZZF and WFZ, have received a public recommendation for Tierhilfe Franken e.V. (Animal Welfare Franken). Given Nuremberg’s long-standing role as the fair’s venue, an organization with a particular commitment to animal welfare was sought. In cooperation with Kallman Worldwide, the organizer of the US Pavilion, which has its roots in Germany, an award including a cash prize of €2,000.00 was presented.
