Build-Up and Dismantle

Build-Up Hours:
Build-Up begins on Monday, May 22nd (Chalets) and Monday, June 5th (Halls).
Monday to Saturday: 7am to 7pm
Sunday and Public Days: 7am to 5pm

For security reasons, the SIAE will no longer be granting special dispensations for night work during the Build-Up period for the Show, except for surveillance staff with night shift (or organiser service) badges. Build-Up installation work must be completed no later 7pm on Saturday, June 17th.  Build-Up badges are no longer valid on June 18th.  Only Services Badges and Exhibitor Badges will provide access to the Show on June 18th.

Dismantle Hours:
Dismantle begins on Monday, June 26th and must be completed between Friday, June 30th and Friday, July 14th.
Monday to Saturday:  7am to 7pm
Sunday and Public Days: 7am to 5pm

To access the site, specific build-up and dismantling badges are required. Exhibitor Badges are valid during this period but 1-day unnamed Exhibitor Badges are not.

 

Safety Clothing

  • Safety boots and high-visibility vest (yellow or orange, with company name) must be worn to access the site during the build-up/dismantling period.
  • Helmets must be worn in zones where firms are working at height.
  • Badges must be worn and must be visible.
  • Access is regulated and private vehicles are prohibited.

 

Food Options
Various snacks and fast food outlets will be provided during Build-Up and Dismantle by companies licensed to operate at Le Bourget.  As in 2015, between May 22nd and June 30th the Organiser will provide a self-service cafeteria for build-up, dismantling and operations technician teams, allowing them to eat onsite at low cost. It is located in the Galilee Area (behind Hall 4) and is open for self-service from 11am to 3pm. A wide range of food catering to suit all needs is available. Parking Information
During Build-Up and Dismantle:  For security reasons, only the Organiser’s vehicles and Exhibitor’s trucks from the Handling Service will be admitted to the site.  All other vehicles, and in particular private vehicles, are prohibited on the site.

During Show Days: The main parking entry Gates are 0, East, L2, L4 and L5.


Badge Information

As an exhibitor at the Paris Air Show, you will receive a free allotment of badges (Permanent Exhibitor pass, 1 Day Exhibitor pass, and 1 Day Trade Invitation).  Click here to view the allotment, specific to your stand. The free badges will be mailed directly from Kallman Worldwide per the selected shipping method (UPS, FedEx or Kallman’s preferred courier).  Any additional badges outside of your Free Badge Allocation must be ordered via the SIAE Paris Air Show 2017 website which will become available once you receive your login information.

Service badges are valid throughout the build-up, dismantling, and Show periods. If you hire an outside contractor or vendor, it is your responsibility to declare them on the online Exhibitor Area. This will give the contractor and/or vendor, access to the pedestrian and service badges.  It may helpful to have the following information handy when ready to submit the service badge:

  1. Complete the order form on the Smart AV Paris Air Show USA Partnership Pavilion Catalogue and submit to Sophie Moore (SophieM@smart-av.com).  Please copy Kimberly Arencibia (KimberlyA@kallman.com) and Keira Langan (KeiraL@kallman.com) on your order to ensure a smooth installation while onsite.
  2. Purchase an outlet for your stand via the KW3-E Electrical form. Be sure to include the outlet location near where you are planning to display the AV equipment.
  3. Purchase a stand for your monitor. Table top, floor stands and wall mount brackets can be purchased through Smart AV. The interlocking booth system does not require additional purchase of a reinforced wall panel. Please also include a layout of where you want the monitor to be installed.
  4. Prepare your content in advance for presentations. Send the files directly to SophieM@smart-av.com so that they can ensure compatibility and expedite set up onsite.

As part of your participation in the U.S. International Pavilion, Kallman Worldwide will manage registration of your Free Badge Allocation. Any badges submitted after the deadline of May 10th on the online platform will need to be picked up onsite at Building O- Starting on May 15th through June 25th.

What happens if I lose my badge during build up?

Go to Gate L4 and they will provide a temporary pass for you.

How to I obtain VIP (Elite) pass?

You can purchase Elite badges on the online platform for VIP access and services.

Where do I enter if I have a VIP (Elite) Pass?

Elite Pass entrance located at Gate L by car (park P3), then a driver will drop you via golf cart to the lounge (Hall 2 Mezzanine).

What is an Elite Pass?

An Elite Pass can be purchased for either 1 day or 7 days with or without parking with access from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM from June 15 to 21. Elite Passes are for privileged guest and the benefits include:

  • Dedicated fast track entrance
  • Lounge area at Hall 2 Mezzanine
  • Unlimited refreshments and dedicated cloakroom
  • Golf cars from the Lounge areas
  • High-class Concierge Service
  • Broader visiting hours: entrance at 7:30am

Is there a shuttle service available?

The Show offers 3 shuttle buses services doing the following rides on regular basis:

  • RER line B Bourget station to Gate L and return, from May 22nd to June 30th 2017.
  • Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle airport to Gate L and return, from June 19th to June 23rd 2017.
  • Paris (Porte Maillot) from the Show, from June 19th to June 22nd 2017.

While the Show is open to the General Public, from June 23rd- 25th, two additional rides will be done:

  • Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre car park and RER station to the Awacs Gate and return.
  • Metro line 7, “Fort d’Aubervilliers” station to Gate L and return.

All shuttle buses are free of charge.

Where Can I Access Taxis?

Build-up and dismantling: Musee de l’Air and Gate L between hall 3 and 4.
Show Days: Gate L between hall 3 and 4.

Where Can I Get a Bus?

Build-up and dismantling: Gate O between hall 1 and 6.
Show Days: Gate L between hall 3 and 4. 

Where are the Car Parks?

Can I purchase a vehicle pass?

Parking passes for designated spots are only available for the main Chalet clients. Exhibitor parking can be purchased through the ViParis site for 170 Euro.

How do I access Handicapped Parking?

Approach Gate L upon entry into the grounds. You will be able to purchase a handicapped parking pass from an attendant for 10 Euro. This pass will allow you to park at Gate L.

BUILD-UP & DISMANTLE

What are the Build-Up & Dismantle Hours?

Which security measures are in place?

Security, i.e. the protection of property and people from deliberate attempts to harm them (theft, vandalism, attack, etc.), at the

Show is managed by the Organizer’s security service, assisted by the French National Police.

What do I do in an emergency?

During build-up and dismantling, a first aid post will be open from May 22nd to June 30th (between Halls 2 and 3) from 7am to 7pm during the week, and from 7am to 5pm on Sundays and public holidays (except June 18 from 7am to 7pm).
During the Show, various first aid posts will be open on the site.

A fire team will be in place from the start of build-up, and then throughout the Show and the dismantling.
