Contractor Worker's Badge

For every 12 square metres of stand construction, the Organisers will issue five Contractor Badges to the Exhibitor’s Contractor, up to a maximum of 50 badges per Contractor, upon its submission of the Performance Bond to the Organisers. (Please see Form E4 on Performance Bond).

  • Additional badges may be purchased at S$5.00 each.
  • Contractors are advised to submit additional names for clearance in case some workers are not security cleared for construction work.
  • All workers must wear the Contractor Badges at all times when they are in the Exhibition Hall during Build up/Tear Down period. Personnel without proper badges will be refused entry.
  • The Contractor's Badges can be collected at the Show Management Office from April 2, 2017.

Is dining available onsite?
There are more than 30 restaurants onsite, including a 24 hour food court.

What other points of interest are located onsite?
Sands Expo & Convention Center is attached to Marina Bay Sands Resort, museums & plenty of shops and restaurants.

Is WiFi available?
Sands Expo & Convention Centre offers free WiFi service for the general public. This is an unlimited complimentary usage. Simply select SSID “MICE HOTSPOTS” to get connected. The public can enjoy typical upload and download speeds of up to 1 Mbp of this free service.
Alternatively, exhibitors can easily select from a list of the info-communications services available through the internet services form.

Which security measures are in place?
The Singapore Police Force (SPF) will be the authority to decide on the Security Policy for the Event. The Policy is dictated by the SPF’s security assessment for the period of the Show. Their decision is final.

A bomb sweep of the entire event premises may take place in the early morning of 2 April 13. All exhibitors will be notified as necessary, and their full cooperation, such as keeping rooms and cabinets unlocked to facilitate the sweep, is requested.

Where necessary, security screening using walk-through metal detectors and hand-held screening devices will be deployed. All participants of the Show will be required to go through such screening. Exhibitors are requested to bear with some of these inconveniences for their own safety and security.
