Below you will find reference documents to assist you in preparing your graphic order. In order to provide you the best possible service, please pay close attention to formats, sizes, file types, and deadlines.   2. Purchase a stand for your monitor. Table top and floor stands can be purchased through Smart AV.  A reinforced wall (for wall mounted monitors only) can be purchased on our KW3 form. Please also include a layout of where you want the panel and monitor to be installed.
  3. Prepare your content in advance for presentations. Send the files directly to SophieL@smart-av.com so that they can ensure compatibility and expedite set up onsite.

If lost or stolen, a new tourist card can be obtained in Santiago at a special police unit (Jefatura Nacional de Extranjeria y Policia Internacional), located at Eleuterio Ramirez, No. 852, Santiago, well in advance of departure. U.S. citizens entering Chile must have a passport in good condition that is valid for the period of your stay.

An extension of stay for another 90 days is possible upon payment of a USD 100 extension fee at the Chilean Immigration Office located at: San Antonio 580, Santiago | Telephone +56 (2) 2550-2469. The extension must be applied for at least one month before the current tourist card’s expiration date. If you have stayed in Chile for longer than the allowed period, you will not be allowed to leave the country until you have paid a fine at the Chilean immigration office.

BUILD-UP & DISMANTLE

What are the Build-Up & Dismantle Hours?

Build-Up
Monday March 5th to Friday March 9th 2018 from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Monday March 12th to Friday March 16th 2018 from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Monday March 19th to Saturday March 31st from 8:00am to 10:00pm. All construction must be complete by 10:00pm on March 31st.
Sunday April 1st 8:00am to 10:00pm. Stand furnishing and decoration.

All working hours extensions must be requested by the interested party, in written form (e-mail or letter) to the Commercial Management of FIDAE, 24 hours in advance.

One week before the event there will be some of the café functioning, not the whole food court until the show opens. There is one Restaurant located on the corner behind Hall D.

How can I book a conference room with the USA and CANADA Partnership Pavilion?
Visit the USA Pavilion Meeting Point once you arrive onsite. Reservations are on a first come-first served basis and are limited to 1 hour per exhibiting company per day.  When booking conference rooms, exhibitors should provide:

  • Date (Day) and Time of Meeting
  • Length of Meeting (Note:  Times are limited to 1 hour per day per exhibiting company)
  • Number of attendees
  • On-site contact name and number

When are the air shows?
Typically, the show runs from noon through the end of show. A flight schedule will be released by FIDAE daily.

Internet services are provided in the Meeting Point with limited access (checking emails).

Which security measures are in place?
Overall surveillance of the exhibition site is provided by the organizer.  Equipment displayed on the booth is the responsibility of the exhibitor, day and night. You should take all appropriate measures to be protected against damage and theft.  Exhibitors are advised to watch over their own booth by an appointment staff member. Be sure to take all necessary measures to ensure the safety of your belongings.
