As trade events are starting up again in Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, you should know that some of the most experienced organizations and individuals in our industry have already been working together to provide guidelines and recommend best practices for the safest possible events. Please review both the Kallman and the show organizer guidelines as they are very important to your travels.

Badge Information

All exhibitors will receive a User ID and password to access the registration system.  Please follow the process and register your personnel by November 6, 2020.  Exhibiting companies are issued the number of badges based on the size of their stand, which are two exhibitor badges for every nine square meters of space.

Any additional pass requirements can be purchased through the online registration system. Please review Regulation A7 for appropriate charges.

US1 - USA Partnership Pavilion Visitor Zone
As an exhibitor in the USA Partnership Pavilion, your company is entitled to a free listing on the USA Partnership Pavilion Visitor Zone webpage.

The Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications (MTT) of Kingdom of Bahrain has made provisions for Visa exemption for BIAS 2020 Participants and Trade Visitors and have a dedicated MTT “BIAS Visa Liaison Office.”  They are operational from October 1st November 20th, 2020, during standard office hours of 07:00hrs – 14:15hrs (local time) Sunday to Thursday.  This office will coordinate the issuing of Visas and they offer assistance for general VISA enquiries related to BIAS 2020.  The contact details for this office are as follows:

All GCC residents with valid permits will be required to pay the Visa fee on arrival at Bahrain International Airport.  Please note:  a valid GCC residents permit must have been issued six months prior to travel and be valid for a further six months from arrival in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Media Personnel – including photographers and videographers
All Media Personnel must have received confirmation of full media accreditation and Visas prior to arrival in the Kingdom of Bahrain, irrespective of their nationality.  Media arriving in country without the required Visa and documentation for equipment face long delays which could result in confiscation of equipment or refusal or entry.  For queries relating to Media personnel entry and related equipment, please contact the BIAS Visa Liaison Office (details above) who will be able to advise on Visa applications for Media guests.

Shuttle buses are not being offered by the organizers.   Contact your hotel for shuttle services to the show.

All the exhibitor parking is in Car Park C #7, which is located in front of the show entrance. There will be a limited number of spaces reserved at the front for disabled guests.   Please contact Sharon Slender to request additional information on handicap parking.

What badges can I use during Build-Up and Dismantle?
•    Exhibitor badges can be used November 16th build up and the entire duration of the dismantling period.
•    The contractor’s badge grants access to the Show Site during the buildup and dismantling periods ONLY.
•    The contractor’s badge will be available at the Organizer’s Office #2, which is located in the main entrance of the exhibition hall, from the beginning of set-up. These Badges are not valid during the show days, November 18-20, 2020.

Can we park at the site during build-up?
During installation and dismantling, exhibitor’s car parks are free.

Is there a safety dress code during build-up?
High visibility vest and closed toe footwear are required at all times during build-up and dismantle.

When & where does the USA Partnership Pavilion Opening Ceremony & Ribbon Cutting take place?
The USA Pavilion Opening Ceremony takes place Wednesday, November 18, 2020.   Time TBD. 

The reception and ceremony will begin with networking followed by the playing of the U.S. and Bahraini national anthems.  Brief remarks by Kallman Worldwide and U.S. Government Representatives will be made at the event and will culminate with the ceremonial ribbon cutting to officially “open” the USA Partnership Pavilion for business at Bahrain International Airshow.

Visit the USA Pavilion Meeting Point Stand once you arrive onsite. Reservations are on a first come-first served basis and are limited to 1 hour per exhibiting company per day.  When booking conference rooms, exhibitors should provide:

•    Date (Day) and Time of Meeting
•    Length of Meeting (Note:  Times are limited to 1 hour per day per exhibiting company)
•    Number of attendees
•    On-site contact name and number

Which security measures are in place?
Security within the show site is the responsibility of the organizers, Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications MTT, Kingdom of Bahrain in partnership with Farnborough International Ltd (FIL). Whilst every effort will be made, the Organizers cannot guarantee the protection of Participants property. Additional security arrangements must be agreed with the Organizers prior to the show.

STAND SURVEILLANCE
Exhibitors are responsible for their own stands and must take all necessary precautions to ensure their equipment is protected and removed in the evening upon closing if no surveillance has been put in place.
Imported goods must be cleared by the Customs Service before being placed on the Exhibitor's stand.
Please note: Stand storage rooms are not secure premises.

THEFT PREVENTION
During the assembly, opening and dismantling periods, some basic rules must be applied by the exhibitor:
•    Do not leave your personal belongings out (wallets, handbags, bags, etc.).
•    Do not leave mobile phones unattended.
•    In the evening, tidy away any valuable items (computers, laptops, tablets) in a lockable unit or take them home with you.
•    During the assembly and dismantling periods, one person must continuously be present at the stand.  This person serves as your only guarantee against theft.

What do I do in an emergency?
Triple Nine (999) is the primary national emergency number in Bahrain.
