CORONAVIRUS UPDATE
July 8, 2020

As trade events are starting up again in Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, you should know that some of the most experienced organizations and individuals in our industry have already been working together to provide guidelines and recommend best practices for the safest possible events. Please review both the Kallman and the show organizer guidelines as they are very important to your travels.

 
 
 

We are following the coordinated advice of the WHO, CDC, local Ministries of Health and individual show organizers to implement best practices and precautions at all of our events. Please refer to these international authorities for further guidance:

Travel to India and COVID-19

Upon international travel to India, a few key pieces of information are required for entry.

  • All travelers should submit self-declaration form on the Yatri Karnataka online portal within 72 hours prior the scheduled travel or physically after arrival at the respective health counters.
  • An Undertaking (India citizens only) is to be submitted on the Yatri Karnataka online portal or on the civil aviation website.
  • Travelers may also seek exemption from quarantine they shall apply to the Yatri Karnataka online portal at least 72 hours before boarding and submit a report of the test that has been conducted within 72 hours prior to undertaking the journey. The test report should be uploaded on the portal for consideration. Each passenger shall also submit a declaration with respect to authenticity of the report.
  • In case of travelers coming from countries having the second wave of Covid-19, they have to undergo a test when they land as well and submit their travel history.
  • All travelers shall download Arogya Setu app, Quarantine watch app and Apthamitra App on their mobile devices.
  • Business or short visit travelers who are coming for short duration of 48 Hours (counted from date of arrival) then he/she is exempted from Covid-19 test & quarantine.
  • All travelers should have the following documentation available on arrival:
    • Confirmed return flight ticket which should not be more than 14 days later from the date of travel.
    • Documents pertaining to the purpose of visit/ invitation letter
    • Place of stay/hotel reservation copy
    • Valid Visa

Accessing Yelahanka Air Force Station

Mandatory Guidelines for entry to Aero India 2021

  1. Get COVID-19 RT-PCR test done and obtain the report which should be less than 72 hours of your scheduled entry time at Aero India Venue. (Dated January 31, 2021 9am or later)
  2. Upload the report and details like name, mobile, email ID, photo ID no. on aeroindia.gov.in portal under
  1. Menu > Covid Care > Upload Covid Clearance Report
  1. Report will be validated by a Medical Team
  2. On validation, clearance will be forwarded to the registered email and through SMS.
  3. Download this clearance and show it on the mobile phone/ hard copy at the venue for entering
  4. Without this clearance, entry to the venue will not be allowed.
  5. You can also download the Covid Clearance Report in your Aero India Mobile App using your reference no.

 

Returning to the USA and COVID-19

To reduce introduction and spread of new variants of SARS-CoV-2, CDC issued an Order effective January 26, 2021. It requires all air passengers arriving to the US from a foreign country to get tested for COVID-19 infection no more than 3 days before their flight departs and to provide proof of the negative result or documentation of having recovered from COVID-19 to the airline before boarding the flight. Safety Clothing
Safety clothing is not mandatory. However, we do recommend taking precaution while onsite during build-up.
 


Parking Information
Each exhibitor is allocated one parking per 50 square meters of space subject to a maximum of two passes per exhibitor, free of charge, for entry to the exhibitor’s parking area.  The car parking permit should be prominently displayed on the cars.  For security reasons, car permits are non-transferable. Passes would be provided subject to availability of space.

  1. Car pass is valid for 3rd, 4th and 5th Feb 2021.
  2. Exhibitors are eligible to get 1 car pass for booth space upto 23 Sq.m. and then 1 car pass per 24 Sq.m. booth space.
  3. Chalet Exhibitors are eligible to get 1 car pass per 72 Sq.m. booth space.

Badge Information
Each exhibitor is entitled to 3 badges per 12 square meters and a maximum of 50 exhibitor badges. (Additional badges can be purchased through your Online Exhibitor’s Manual account for 2750.00 INR / 80.00 USD.)

Exhibitors will be required to register details of the persons along with their photographs and passport details after logging in the Aero India website. Be sure to enter accurate information to avoid long wait times at the venue.

Once the online registrations is completed and E-badge with a unique QR will be generated.
Entry will be permitted through E-badges and Scanners will be placed at all gates to ensure a contactless interface.
Kiosks will be made available on side for printing the badges issued online if required.
Exhibitors must be able to present the passes at all times inside the Exhibition to facilitate identification.

US1 - USA Aerospace & Defense Showcase Submission

As an exhibitor in the USA Partnership Pavilion your company is entitled to a free listing on the USA Aerospace & Defense Showcase.

Submission of this form will signify how your company name will appear on both your fascia and counter that are included in your turnkey package. Failure to complete this form, and we will revert to the company name listed on your contract.

Visa Requirements

U.S. citizens wishing to visit India are responsible for requesting the correct type of visa from the Indian Embassy or Consulate. There are generally no provisions for changing your immigration category (e.g., from tourist to work visa) once you have entered the country. Indian visa regulations change frequently, often with little advance notice, and changes may be poorly advertised and inconsistently enforced. Travelers are urged to check the website of the Indian Embassy in Washington, D.C. before any travel to India to review the most current information. Indian visas may be obtained in the United States through Cox & Kings Global Services, the Government of India’s visa contractor. Diplomatic and Official visa applications, however, are accepted directly at the Indian Embassy and Consulates. Please review the information on the Cox & Kings Global Services website to determine your purpose for travel and the most appropriate visa category. All U.S. government employees, including military personnel, must obtain country clearance for travel to India. Once you have received your visa, check it carefully to ensure that the type of visa and number of entries is appropriate for your travel plans.
