HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – Almost 30 students and teachers from across the world are attending Space Camp in Huntsville, thanks to the Endeavour Scholarship.

The scholarship was created to inspire the next generation of innovators, explorers, and leaders.

Recipients from countries like Australia, Chile, and Ukraine made their way to the U.S. Space and Rocket Center as part of this year’s class.

One recipient said he was over the moon with joy when he found out he was awarded the scholarship.

“When I heard that news, it was Nepalese New Year’s Day, and the first person I told was my mom. My mom was sobbing; I was sobbing,” Subarna Pradhan said.
