About Milipol Qatar 2021 Canada Pavilion

Why exhibit at MILIPOL QATAR 2021?

Qatar, a strategic crossroads between Asia and the Near East, is a market you can’t afford to ignore. With the highest per capita income in the world, and the world’s third largest natural gas and oil reserves, Qatar will become a regional showcase for innovative homeland security products and services in March.  This wealthy nation, playing host to FIFA World Cup 2022 (Doha), has spent, by some estimates, more than U.S. $200 billion on infrastructure and security upgrades preparing for this internationally acclaimed event. The world will be watching.

The World Cup has been a strong driver of investment in many areas including law enforcement, airport security, biometric security, and fire suppression technology, and observers expect spending to continue well after the tournament has ended. Slated to begin Phase 1 of construction this year, the Qatar Rail Development Program will see the construction of more than 65 metro stations requiring state of the art homeland security technology in order to keep citizens and visitors to the city secure. Beyond the rail program, Qatar National Vision 2030 forecasts to keep investment flowing for at least another generation.

The organizers of Milipol Qatar 2021, taking place at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC), expect more than 8,500 trade visitors from over 100 countries to visit the exhibition between March 15-17. With the Ministry of Interior of Qatar accounting for more than $150 million in contracts inked during the 2018 edition of the show, there has never been a better time to forge deeper relationships and host demonstrations that will help your company compete for more of Qatar’s homeland security budget.
