Presentations on the Lafayette Escadrille

Long before the United States entered World War I, American volunteers flew for France. They volunteered as early as 1914, risking their citizenship and their lives for the cause of liberty. They formed an all-American fighter squadron named for the Marquis de Lafayette, and served in every sector of the Western Front: over Verdun, the Somme, and Champagne.

The 30-minute presentation features the teaser for the film and dramatic images of the Escadrille, World War One and from our production-in-progress currently filming in France, the US, and New Zealand. The filmmakers will take your questions and share their discoveries.

Speakers: Filmmakers Paul Glenshaw and Darroch Greer
