Extemin is the most important mining conference in Peru and the second largest and perhaps the most prestigious mining event in Latin America. It will host close to 900 exhibitors and the attendance is expected to reach 30,000 visitors. The convention alone brings over 5,000 experts and senior executives from the main mining corporations of Latin America.

This biennial event is the best platform for suppliers of goods and providers of services to present their products to the elite of the Peruvian mining community.

Peru is ranked number one in Latin America in all metals except for copper and is ranked third globally for mining exploration investment after Canada and Australia. Peru is rich in mineral resources and the development and processing of these resources is a vital economic activity contributing to 62% of Peru’s exports and fuelling the consistent 8% GDP growth.
