IDEF International Defense Industry Fairs, is biannual and is endorsed by the Ministry of National Defense. It has become the most important regional cooperation and promotion platforms for keeping track the technological developments, implementing supply programs, demonstration and introduction of the modern vehicle, equipment and weapon systems.
It is believed that the achieved record level of participation, negotiations and number of the signed agreements and protocols in the IDEF-2009, will increase in IDEF-2011, the 10th International Defense Industry Fair. To conduct the IDEF-2011 for the second time in Istanbul, the historical and cultural center and the crossroads of Europe and Asia, adds a new level of excitement to the IDEF Fairs which is also called the Eurasian Meeting of the International Defense, Naval, Aviation and Aerospace sectors. Therefore, there is an expected high level of participation.
