ExpoMINA 2012 will gather entrepreneurs of several areas looking for business opportunities and development in the Peruvian mining sector. Juan Jose Herrera, Volcan General Manager and President of Expomina states: “EXPOMINA 2012 is an event for leading decision makers, executives and professionals from the mining sectors with the purpose of promoting the presence of companies of other areas which are looking to start or enhance commercial links with mining” .
“It is also an excellent opportunity to exhibit the status of new mining projects and production growth of various minerals and supplies”. Jorge Leon Benavides, Director and Manager of Digamma Group, organizer of the event states: “EXPOMINA 2012 occupies 15,000 m2 and will present the biggest trade show ever in Lima. All of leading Peruvian and foreign mining companies and producers will participate in this event will exhibit products, machinery, services and technology of the most recent advances”.
Within EXPOMINA 2012 the 3rd edition of Copper and Silver Forum will be held, in addition to conferences and technical presentations. At closure of the show, the IV Expomina Award will be delivered in areas of Social and Environmental responsibilities to mining companies and suppliers. Expomina 2010 had an estimated of US$ 120 million of business goals, more than 120% compared to previous event.
In addition, EXPOMINA 2010 hosted eleven delegations from the most important mining countries such as : The United States of America, Chile, Canada, Argentina, México, Colombia, Australia, China, Italy, Spain and Brazil; this is a demonstration of the importance of our event both and national and international level
