According to the Chile Country Commercial guide for US companies, the country continues to be a strong trading partner and export market for U.S. companies, largely due to its open market policies, zero tariffs, stable democratic government, solid business practices and low corruption.

The Canada-Chile Partnership Framework, signed in 2007 and supported by multiple agreements, has served as a roadmap for the expansion and deepening of collaboration between Canada and Chile in various priority sectors. Canada’s Defence Industry is increasingly involved in the Chilean Defence sector particularly in the areas of ship design, modernization of frigates and aircraft, engine overhaul, and high-tech gear. We look forward to helping yo learn more and sell more in Chile at Exponaval.
